On 2 July 2025, a group of Hanley colleagues took on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon — and completed the ascent in just four hours.

The team faced a mix of sunny spells and strong winds near the summit, but stayed together throughout the climb. After a quick lunch at the top, they made their way back down and rounded off the day with a well-earned drink and scone.

This wasn’t just a physical challenge — it was part of our wider commitment to community and charity. Through their own fundraising efforts, Hanley colleagues raised £590 for our partner charities, contributing to our growing total of community volunteering days, which now exceeds 170.

The Snowdon walk is a great example of how our teams continue to go above and beyond, not only in their day-to-day roles but in making a real difference outside of work.
